Spring 2024 Courses

In UKC100, students collaborated with the community partner, The Nest, to put design thinking skills into practice to promote the well-being of the clients of The Nest. The Nest facilitated opportunities for the students to engage with their clients and formulate solutions to common client concerns. Representatives from The Nest attended "Show What You Know Days" where students presented their findings from their interactions with The Nest's clients and offered suggestions to The Nest on how they could better meet the needs of their clients.

In UKC105, students focused on how arts and cultural organizations provide quality spaces for encountering and understanding others. Students worked with The Leeds Theatre to offers suggestions to the staff and board of the Leeds Theatre and local community members on how to encourage engagement in the creative spaces of the community.
