TEK to Host Community Partners for Networking Event
Join the Office of Transdisciplinary Educational approaches to advance Kentucky (TEK) and Provost DiPaola for a networking session with community partners. The session will take place from 4:00-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, in the TEK Office at the University of Kentucky William T. Young Library.
Featuring a panel of community partners and workforce experts, we will discuss the meaningful integration of essential employability skills into new and refreshed courses while leveraging the expertise of community partners to take a transdisciplinary approach in solving 21st century problems. The format of the discussion will be Q&A.
“This event is a great way for campus community members to recognize how they can be a part of TEK,” said Susan Cantrell, Director of TEK. “Solving the most challenging 21st century problems requires collaboration with experts in our community, and we are excited about engaging our students in transdisciplinary work.”
This event is free and open to the public.
